This is something that can be done yourself and is very easy. First on the console you will find 2 screws depending on the model the screws can be in the front behind the plastic end caps ( you will have to pull it from the top and it will come down ) or in the back of the console on the left and right sides. after you remove the screws the console can be pulled to the front of the unit and flipped up, you will see a brass clamp on the left and right, take a flat blade screwdriver and pop them out, now disconnect the lid sw and open the lid and pull the cabinet toward you lift up and out this will expose the whole machine. now get on the floor in the bottom center of the unit you will find the pump held on by two clips pop off the clips and pull the pump off the motor ( when reinstalling the pump make sure the motor shaft and the female part on the pump are lined up ) now disconnect the motor wires and in some cases remove the 2 5/16th screws holding the 2nd pair of clips in place if your unit does not have the screws pop off the 2nd pair of clips , now with the motor out you will see the coupling one half on the motor and the other on the shaft for the trans, you can pop the parts off with a flat blade screw driver. now you are ready to install the new part. place the end of the new coupling on the motor use a 3/8 socket and tap the part on till its flush with the shaft, do the same with the trans coupling also now put the unit back together and your set to go. Hope this helps

I replaced the coupling, which was well-worn, but I am still having the same problem....tub will not spin out. I have tried moving the tub manually, and it will turn but it is difficult. Is there a chance there is something jammed between the tubs, and if so how would I check that?
