Where can I find a driver/adapter for Advent X19W LCD Monitor?

Goto device manager , uninstall the card. go into control panel and check that the driver is uninstalled from the programs list. Swich of the pc for a minute or two then reboot Windows updares does not download drivers for graphics cards so will not install or reinstall the driver that is causing the issue, 307? Users forget to uninstall from program manger in control panel which is why the card keeps reinstalling with the undesired driver.
Please let me know what happens

We reinstalled Windows and now there is no "Display Adapter" in the device manger listing and the display is not right. I think we are missing a driver for Nvidia GE Force 6200 turbo cache card....

Please check if you have an onboard display card and the NVDIA GEforce card, this situation can hapen when you connect your monitor to the onboard card instead of the NVidia card and try to install the driver for NVIDIA card.

Connect it back to the NVIDIA display card and once again install the downloaded driver, it should identify the device and install fine.

Hi,
You have told that blue screen comes only if you connect your nvidia display/graphics card. Usually Blue screen comes if there is some problem with the hardware or due to incompactible hardware drivers. Remove the nvidia card from you system. Reinstall your system and then install all the drivers present in your motherboard cd. After that go to nvidia website, download the latest driver for your nvidia display/graphics card driver. Now connect your nvidia hardware back to your motherboard. Before that clean the dust particles present in the motherboard connecting terminals, if any. Now boot your system into safe mode. Restart your system into normal mode, install the latest driver downloaded for your nvidia hardware. Now everything should work fine. If you get bluescreen again, remove the card from system, restart into safe mode, uninstall the driver. Check the hardware in someother system, to detect wheather the problem is with your nvidia card or not. I hope this will help you out.

Problem installation video card

Hello Virna, i have that exact graphics card and dell GX270 desktop here at home, tho it has been awhile since i removed the Nvidia PCI card for a more favorable AGP card. From what i remember, first check your BIOS (hit F2 on startup) and select integrated devices, scroll down and make sure your default video output is either PCI (if available) or AUTO) exit saving changes. If that yields no result. Plug in a second monitor to your old integrated video output, if you can view windows after bootup from there, then you can install the proper Nvidia display driver for windows Xp (available here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html ). After installing, right click on the desktop, select properties, display settings tab, and make sure the Geforce card is the main monitor and the desktop monitor. Click apply, unplug the integrated VGA output, and restart. Hope this helps.

As far as I am aware, you can not run an ATI card in the same system as an Nvidia card due to driver conflicts.

Most like the sound card you have is not compatible with Windows Vista. You need to check the manufacturers website to see if there is any patch for Windows Vista
