Question about HP LaserJet 4250n Printer
When I print, there is a smudge. Due to spacing, looks like it's on roller. How do I check this.
This problem is with the fuser. It needs to be replaced. They tend to burn out right in the center leaving a rolling smudge across the page as the unfused toner left on the roller gets printed on the next roll-over.

If you print 2 pages and the spacing are equally spaced. then you are right. it is on the roller.
you have to take the ink cartridge out and use water or acohol on a coffee filter to clean them.
