Question about HP LaserJet 2840 All-In-One Printer
My work office just changed the mangeta ( red) catridge just amonth ago when it said that there was no cartridge install. Now it is saying it again when the cartridge wasn't even used up. Can we get this working again? Or do we have to replace a cartridge everytime it says that its not installed? OR is ist the printers sensor gone on the printer?
I have seen this issue before. Evry time I have seen it it has been when a refurbished/generic cartridge is used. I actually went thru 7 cartridges before I found one that continued to work properly. I would recomend getting a cartridge made by the manufacturer of your printer. I would also try to get a refund on the defective cartridges. By the way I have been working on printers/faxes/copiers for over 20 years. I hope this helps.
