cancel documents in queue
if using a straight USB connection, delete all instances of printer. else remove duplicate printer icons.
reboot & reconnect printer (swap cables if not detected)

First go to your pc and click on file, print when the window opens does it show your printer in there? is it set to THAT printer? does it show as being Ready?
If not re download the driver, then click on File, Print, right click on your printer and set as default.
Next double click on My Computer, ( or click on Start, Control panel, printers and faxes, put your mouse over your printer it should say Ready, if not then change the cable
