Question about Toshiba SD-37VSR Player
My SD-37VBSB combo video/dvd player from Toshiba has started playing all the DVDs with a strong green colour that makes them unwatchable. Videos play fine and the TV channels are perfect. Have I done something without realizing? Can it be fixed?
Greetings and Salutations,
If your using the component outputs from your DVD player I would first check to make sure that the cables for the Red and Blue channels are connected properly. If the cable is connected correctly then try replacing both the Red and Blue channel cable. If this fails to fix the problem try connecting to another component input on your TV if you have one available.
You might also want to check to see if you switched on the progressive scan switch on the back of the VCR/DVD unit. If you know someone with another DVD player have them bring it over and see if the problem is still exists.
If the green picture is still present then the problem is and internal problem with the TV and you will need to find a repair center for it. If the problem goes away then the problem is with the VCR/DVD combo unit. You can at this point also try using just the Video Out from the DVD player.
Hope these suggestions will help you with your problem.
