Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

No Video TV shows "No Signal" on black screen

Xbox working fine then suddenly the screen went black. No error message other than the words no signal floating across the TV Screen. Checked all the cables and they are in correctly. Even tried the standard cable and cannot get any video. Lights are green. From researching the web it would be simpler if we had the red ring of death.
If it has to go away for repair will Microsoft repair a console if face plate has been painted?
I am not a "techy" so do not want to be told to by a video guide to take it apart and fix it myself.

Try to find a frind with an xbox and ask to see if you can borrow there cables for like a day.see if those cables work. if they do that means you have to go and buy new cables and if it still doesent work try a diffent tv. if that still doesent work then you have to probably send it back. i took my faceplate off and i think that voids the warrenty.

Hope this helps you out a bit

My sharp aquos has gone to a blue screen and message saying not supported, why has it done this?

Suddenly it is plugged into what? The TV only works when a signal is sent to it. The TV is probably fine, but of course it's the messenger. Must be where the problem is.

JVC 32" D series TV is suddenly black and white

Wow that's interesting, was there anybody watching your home while you were gone? There is a possibility that someone simply turned down the color level with the color control? Check that first. It's an unusual symptom. With composite video, component video or HDMI it's not usually possible to experience that defect. Since the color (chrominance signal) is usually inseparable from the luminance (black and white signal) I would check the color setting first. Other wise your set has become unable to detect that color signal... I bet it's a setting rather than a defect.

My xbox cuts on abut wont connect

I'm thinking bad AV cable or bad port on your TV. I assume the Xbox dash board won't come up, if so the "no signal" message is a TV error message not an Xbox error message.

Try a different port on the TV and/or a different TV; also try a different AV cable.

Good luck. Please rate, thanks.

Xbox 360 will not send a picture signal to TV

Hi there,

sounds like you have a graphics card problem with the xbox 360. possibly loose/damaged electrical connections between the GPU and the motherboard which has caused the xbox to not display a picture. with this being a Hardware problem i would suggest calling the Xbox customer support, numbers can be found on http://www.xbox.com/support call up the support team and explain your problem.

I believe that microsoft will ask you to send the Xbox direct to them so they can fix the problem for you, it shouldnt take long to correct !

hope this helps

Xbox 360 - While setting up in menu the TV went black and msg. No Sync. Signal

First, make sure you select either TV or HDTV selector on the Audio Video Cable that came with the XBOX. Second, if you chose TV plug the Audio/Video Cable connectot that are red, white , and yellow in color to your TV. Now see if you can see the Start up on the XBOX360.
If you still dont get anything, try plugging it on another television and see if that fixes your problem.
