Valid VIN numbers use the letters A-Z and numbers 0-9, except for the letters I, O, and Q. If the VIN is not working properly, check to see if letters and numbers have been accidentally inverted. Make sure the letter O was not entered in place of the number 0. Also, make sure the correct number of characters has been entered.
You will need to reset your starview box to factory settings first which can be done through the main menu, type 0000 when prompted for code.
Reboot the box as you did when you first got it.
Don’t forget to turn “Key EMU” back on as this will have changed to off with the reset (1570 from the menu screen).
This should have cured all your problems!!
If this still doesn’t work you will need to input new codes via Nagravision (also 1570 from the menu screen).

Right..press menu then 0000 to enter factory settings...scan then go back to menu..press 1570 another menu will appear..make sure your emu key is on (at the bottom)..then enter nagravision..and enter codes..you will see you can enter letters by useing the coloured buttons on your remote (just look at the screen to see what I mean) ...and then when codes are installed just exit back to tv (just keep pressing the back button untilyou get back to tv..) and you should be up and running....if you have any problems let me know..and I will do my best to help.
Hi, Press menu..then type in 1570..this will open another menu...and go into
nagravision you should be able now to find your provider..select that
and enter your 00 code and store then change to 01 and enter that
code..store and exit..make sure your emu key is on ..then exit and all should work. (you might need to do a re-scan)
I can't say what codes you need as I don't know your area provider.
Press the meny button followed by 1570 this brings you to into the hidden menu. Go down to Nagravision and press ok. The rest is pretty much straight forward, just make sure that EMU is on before you exit and that you pick your correct provider. Good luck!
Nagravision screen Look down list make sure EMU is set ti ON press ok,
Code screen make sure service provider is in tad. Ntel. 5401, Tw.5A01,Cw.5C01.
Go down to the bottom and enter codes store each code as you enter them.
Go to the 00 tab press right to 01 then change codes and save each as entered.
