Question about Emerson CF2600PW Raphael Pewter Ceiling Fan

Open Question

Emerson Raphael ceiling fan does not work

I reset the wall switch so I guess the problem is with the ceiling receiver. The fan is up 30 ft so I would like to get the part. Any idea where to find it? Is it possible that a power surge burned it out? I hear that there are lot's of problems with the expensive piece of junk.

There are switches in the remote and in the switch housing. Check this Emerson link for specific instructions. http://dl.owneriq.net/0/00837059-3b79-4074-8261-2ed4fed64384.pdf

SOURCE: Does anyone have an exact cross-reference for a

I disassembled the switch and determined that a Switchco catalog #A01 which is a Zing Ear #ZE-208S would solve the problem. The switch required must support OFF => ON L+1 => ON L+2 => ON L+3. The Home Depot switch appears to have contacts configured similar to Switchco catalog #A09. I replaced the Sabre PC-18 with the Switchco A01 model and it works fine now.

SOURCE: I HAVE A CEILING FAN

I have a Casablanca fan with a similar controller. In order to change direction on my fan I have to press the FAN and POWER buttons at the same time. I imagine they are not that different, so you might want to give it a try.

My ceiling fan and light does not respond to remote control any more. How do I get them to reconnect again?

Try removing power at the source, waiting a few minutes, and restoring power. Power outages cause the receiver to develop amnesia. In addition, if you try to restore correct operation by pulling chains or flipping wall switches, the receiver loses its tiny electronic mind. You may even find that the problem corrects itself at random over time.

I have an emerson ceiling fan with a light AND emerson SWQSRR controller.I can't figure out how the SWQSRR controller could control the fan and light seperately by only using 1 yellow wire?

Because it's a wall remote. Remotes will work fan & light with one hot wire. You should have a receiver in the canopy of the fan.

My ceiling fan has quit working....I have replace the batter in the remote. The ceiling fan is hard wired to allow on/off switch from wall switch or the remote. HELP!

The wall switch has to be in the on position for the remote to work. What make/model of fan do you have? Probably needs a new receiver.

Fan on the ceiling fan works, light does not, it is an Emerson unit wall switch only not remote control

Try pulling the chain once and then try the wall control. Is it a wall REMOTE or dual control? Do you have the number of the wall control?

Hunter fan works light broken

Check to make sure light wires are connected at light kit & remote. Otherwise it's probably a bad receiver. If there is a pull chain for the light pull it once & try the remote light button again.

"Ball Ceiling Fan" - hardwired wall switch only turns on or off, no speed control or light control, stuck on "high" and light "on" when switch is in "on" position.

The most likely cause (and the one I've always encountered) is the switch/controller nit wears out from electrical arcing that burns the contacts or temperature kills electronics on "soft" speed controllers

Unable to reverse Thomasville ceiling fan rotation w/remote

I e-mailed Thomasville Lighting after my original post but did not get a reply. I then searched and found a similar problem on this site (http://www.fixya.com/support/t187540-ceiling_fan_not_reverse_remote) and read the Best Solution which mentioned running the fan at medium speed (not low), then pressing the Reverse Direction button....it worked. As stated in the original suggestion, this was very counterintuitive and not documented in the manual.

HAMPTON BAY CEILING FAN MODEL # UC7067RC

I have a solution for you. Call 1-866-600-FANS(3267) and give them the numbers on the side of the receiver. Example: 7067FM-22 (6+5) Variations of this receiver are used by many different manufacturers including Hampton Bay,Emerson,Minka Aire, etc... There is a web site that shows a few examples of this receiver available. http://www.fanmanlighting.com
P.S. It helps to know if your Ceiling Fan has a 2nd light above the fan or reverses direction from the transmitter.
