I need to access BIOS at start.

Hi, it's normally F2. Sometimes F12.

Keep pressing F2 or F12 repeatedly as soon as you have pressed the power button on the PC, this may get you into the BIOS

Your bios seems corrupted. You will probably need to reflash from a thumb drive which is bootable. The F2 should get you to booting screen to access the thumb drive to boot from to flash the bios.

How do I enter setup when there is no option to enter

F2 is your bios setup, and F12 is the boot order selection, if you cannot access the two options there is no other way. That shows up when the Toshiba logo is visable. If your windows run properly I would not risk formatting the hard drive. But it might be worth contacting Toshiba, customer and technical support about the unusuall situation.

How do I access the screen that shows BIOS options as I wish to upload UBUNTU 11.04 from a pendrive, so I want to make my first and possibly second BIOS options to be for the pendrive.

At boot time repeatedly pressing either, F2 , F12, or possibly Fn+F1 this is depending upon the bios wether it has been updated or upgraded. One of these should do the trick.....

I am unable to access my laptop it just comes up with press F2 to enter setup but when I press F2 it just goes into no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key

The reason your system is refering you back to the setup is because either there is no operation program such as Vista on your system. If you know there is a operating system on your computer try using either backup cd or the cd's that came with your computer. Another thing that may help trying to use either F-ll or F12 on your keyboard. These references are only to help you troubleshoot and get back on the Internet.

When i turn on my computer a black screen pops up saying enter current password._ Unable to use f2 or f12 What am I supposeed to do

Hi

You could try to start up in safe mode ( quite often f8 ) sign in as administrator and cancel the password

Also if you get into safe mode try a system restore back to when it was ok

Or hit delete key a few times when starting up hopefully this will take you into the bios because the f12 or f2 key may be disabled

Be very careful what you change in your bios because on a laptop its not very easy to change jumpers on bios battery so only enable the f2 or f12 then hit save and exit windows will then restart

But be very very carefull not to play around in the bios if you dont understand it you may end up with BIG BIG Problems
