Polan 3400 fuel line route?

I haven't seen a manual yet that shows you the fuel line route on a piece of equipment.. Generally its the most direct route from tank to carb to primer (if it has one)

Gas leaks out of poulan 3400 counter vibe chainsaw handle.

The fuel tank is integral with the plastic housing of the saw. A leak has obviously developed, I would say its time to replace the plastic housing and go from there.

Replacing gas line

Your fuel lines are routed like the schematic below. I suggest you replace the filter, all hoses (2 different sizes), and the purge button (bleeder).

I need to know how to route the gas lines on a poulan pro 210 i notice the two sizes of line and there are two hookups on the carb which goes where

This should help. Snap a photo then a small sample of each to your local chainsaw seller.

The link is a Poulan Pro 210 IPL.
The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are listed but may be on different illustrations.

If not your saw you can find the correct one here:
Poulan.com

The dash number of your serial number is the type.
If you have more questions you can reply below. I hope this is helpful.

Model 3400, runs on idle but not at full speed,

I think like you it is running lean. Normally I would provide a link to the IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw but Poulan just locked the site for non-dealers. Please register your displeasure here http://www.poulanpro.com/node4020.aspx. IMO as an owner, you should have free access to these.

Sounds like time for carburator kit, HTH

I have inheirited a Poulan counter vibe 3400 it

Go to m-and-d.com then parts diagram then illustrated parts online then parts look up then select oem poulan then poulan then saw then look at list of models you will find 3400. Have worked on one or two of the 3400 and they seem to be a fairly good saw for home use.
