Re: no access to my messages and mms;
Usually with my verizon it tells me that I have to access the sms or mms online at their website. I don't get those on this phone. Check with your provider to see if that model phone does not carry that access. I say this cause my wife has the same service but a different kind of phone and she receives these and I can not.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

this is not really a problem but understanding should be clear: Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS)
MMS is a descendant of SMS (Short Messaging Service). MMS extends text messaging to include longer text, graphics, photos, audio clips, video clips, or any combination of the above, within certain size limits.
MMS is frequently used to send photos and videos from camera phones to other MMS phones or email accounts. Most camera phones have MMS, but many non-camera phones have it as well. if it has a photo, video or audio it will automatically be categorize as MMS
While SMS stands for short message service. SMS is also often referred to as texting, sending text messages or text messaging. The service allows for short text messages to be sent from one cell phone to another cell phone or from the Web to another cell phone. purely text:

1. Open up the main menu (by pressing the centre button) and navigate down to "MESSAGING" 2. Find the MMS message that you are trying to open 3. Click on it with the "OK" key, and it should prompt you to donwload it. 4. Click "yes" and the MMS should be displayed
You must have access to internet on your mobile device or this process may not work.
Hi, the process of opening MMS is very easy if you have activated MMS feature on your Cellphone. When your phone receives any MMS message a link will be in the Inbox of SMS or MMS you just need to open the message as you would open an SMS. That's it. The MMS will be opened on your cellphone which you can save on your Cellphone. Please contact the network carrier of your cellphone to download the settings for MMS and to activate MMS on your Cellphone.
This could only be caused by a couple of things. The message center number in the handset may not be correct, which will cause the messages to fail. The other possibility is that the feature is not active on your account with your wireless provider. What you need to do is test a couple of things. See if you can send a text/sms message to yourself, in doing this you can verify that you can not only send, but receive text/sms messages. If you cannot send, or receive text/sms messages, then that verifies that the message/service center number is off, and will need to be corrected. If that works, and you can receive text/sms messages, then your service center number is correct, and you will move to the next troubleshooting step, which is to test your web browser. If you cannot launch the web browser on your handset, then this is an issue, because the MMS service requires that you have both SMS, and web browser service to send a MMS message. If you can access the internet and you have the ability to send/receive text/sms, then you need to call your service provider as the issue may be with their service.
The settings are all different, Internet, Wap etc... for MMS you need to call your service provider and ask them to send you the MMS settings, they are sent via a txt msg, when you receive them click Save or Install.
MMS doesn't work between all networks.
as i think the MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER you must change by asking your network operator ... 1. call to customer care of ur network operator 2. ask for the message center number.. 3. store it in it by going to message settings and message center number .. then try your sms will start going..................
