How do I hook it to The tv (by 2 users)

I just got this KLH 5 Disc CD Changer model DA1302 Serial Number 007743 today and I can't figure out how to hook it up on the back there are only a red and white port and when I hook it in the back of the tv nothing happens

do I just connect it to speakers or do I need a reciever.

This device plays Audio CD only, will not support video, That is why there is no video out socket (yellow RCA jack)

you may have an "intelligent" tv that only turns audio on when video is also present. if your tv is older, then go thru the menu options and look for option that turns back panel inputs to "on"...or it may be as simple as finding that option on the remote control.
