Assuming you have an XP PC you do not need software.
Simply plus the supplied lead into the camera and plug the big and into a convenient USB port on the computer.
Switch the camera on and wet the upload control
withing a short time a screen will appear asking what do you want to do with the picture. select a folder= My pictures or create a new one.
and the press next and next etc., following the instructions
If this does not happen after a while
go to My Computer- a new drive should have appeared called 'E' if you have the normal A C D configuration or another drive letter if you other drives active,
