If this is electronic ignition you have a dirty flame sensor.
If you have a standing pilot light you should remove, dismantle and clean the pilot assembley.
Makec sure you clean the small gas oriface located inside the pilot assembly.
When you put it back together I would install a thermocoupling. Can be purchased for about $10 -$14 at any hardware store.

My pilot light on my five burner kozy world heater comes on and burns full and blue but itermittently sputters and shuts down when burners kick on.

From what you have described there appears to be dust, dirt or pet hair in the pilot or the pilot tubing, as well as the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS). OR your heater may be the wrong gas type. In other words, you have Propane Gas and the heater is a Natural Gas heater (or vise versa). Look for the manufacturers tag on the side or back of the heater. It will tell you the model number, serial number and gas type. Even with this, on rare occasions, the manufacturer's plate may be incorrect. The only way to be sure is to remove the front cover of the heater and look at the control valve. It should be marked LPG or NG.

If your friends heater has a pilot light but no burner I would be inclined to change the gas valve. You need to get the proper gas valve for mobil homes. They require a two stage slow opening valve. Make sure it is set up for the right type of fuel. If possible have someone with experience working with gas to help you with repairs. I hope this helps you some. Thanks

Pilot light goes out when burners kick on burnham

Get a toothbrush and clean the **** off the pilot, could be partially blocked. Change the safety thermocouple. Check the plenum for cracks. A cracked heat exchanger can cause this.

Pilot light goes out when burner kicks off

Sounds like the pilot is dirty....when dirty it gets smaller and lazy...tends to go out easy...try gently tapping it with a screwdriver...make the pilot bluer and bigger....when it's dirty it has yellow tips or yellow completely , the pilot should fully envelope the thermocouple as well

Pilot and Burner shut off at same time at various run times.

sounds like your pilot saftey is working.the pilot flame heats a device called a thermacoupler which gives a signal to the gas valve letting it know its ok to open main valve. you may need a new thermacouple , might have a dirty pilot orfice or a problem with gas pressure or worse case a cracked heat exchanger in any case in less you have some type of training you should call a pro
