hi free_b_73 this sounds like your phone is doing a hard reset on it. Right now phone is doing what is call a hard reset. The our problem is that the phone has not finish yet. GO to hboot and see if that finishes. the phone should go come on all the way now. Next your going to have to reactivate the phone Set the phone up again. after you get the sim going I would get your gmail back on the phone this should reinstall your contacts and apps on the phone. this should help let me know if this works.
hi guys do not worry.i vll tell u da simple trick.wich gonna really works.juz go htc.com, in supports choose your fon modle as htc smart.and download the rom upgrade file.juz switch off ur fon remove the battery and wait for a minute,and again switch it on. when the screen appears juz hold the camera button on the right edge untill u see the rom version which comes in colour.juz pluge the usb cable to it .and start the downloaded rom file,juz fallow the simple procedure.and the rom vll upgrade ur fon software,and ur fon is done.i hate dis htc service guys .when i vent to them vit dis problem,dey r asking the bill vich i hav lost.so i did it myself, and i tot to sahre vit everyone hu r facing dis problem.if u ahv any query reguarding dis juz email me @[email protected],,,hope u likd it ...............
when start your htc, keep pressing the "home" button, do not release at all, while your pressing the power, you'll have a sign apearing on screen an thenrelease both buttons, and press them again in same time... now you enter in boot mode. if you have a boot file on your card you can use it (please check youtube how to do it, they have a solution there), if not, just boot from his software... good luck, hope to help you.
Tap Start >> Settings. Go to System tab and tap on Screen. Now select to Align/Calibrate screen from there and follow the instructions. Tap Ok after the calibration is complete. Soft reset the mobile and then check again,
to hard reset the htc s 710....................
1) switch off the phone first,
2) again switch it on....and as soon as the green led starts blinking (indication of phone coming to life) immedietly press and hold both the soft keys at a time, and follow the instruction given on u r phone screen. :)
