I can't seem to get the Motion Eye inbuilt webcam working, and cannot find the software on my system at all. I've got a vaio VGN-AR61S

Did u install any other programs anfter your vista instalation? try to uninstall them one by one, My guess is that one of the programs "kidnaped" you camera. By uninstaling one by one you can easy find out witch one it is. After uninstalling one program test your camera. If it works again you that program is the problem.
