Hi: We are senior citizens who are "sort of" computer literate. We just bought a Plantronics M214C headset and it looks fine but came with no instructions. I know it should be simple but we are not sure what the buttons on the in-line control do

This sounds like a definite problem of the headphones themselves. What I would suggest for you to do is to get into contact with their customer support. They have 24-hour support available by calling 1-888-PLANTRONICS. I have actually had a similar experience with a pair of their headphones and I called them up. They were very kind and helpful and had a replacement set shipped out to me right away. Good luck!

Plantronics always recommends that the old phone is taken out of range of the Bluetooth headset when trying to pair it to a new phone.

Go into the computer's "control panel" and "audio devices", just to make sure that the Plantronics GameCom 377 is listed as the default device for both the microphone and listening. You sometimes have to designate the headset within the individual software programs as well.

There is no information on the Plantronics Game-com 367; no manual. If it is still under warranty get it exchanged as soon as possible. You might want to look at the place where you purchased it for warranty information. Make sure the cords are plugged in correctly, and make sure that your computer recognizes the new device. You might have to look at the control panel to see if the mic is turned on.

MIne connects to my phone and tells me it is connected but i do not get the headset picture on my mobile anymore, and when i make calls it isnt connected I still have to pick my phone up and use that..
Why should I have to do that when I bought it for that specific reason, I bought a Blueant one and it works perfect for three months..

Fix you problems plantronics and STOP using computer generated feedback!!!
And get someone with more than half a Brain to sort this out.

I'm facing the same problem with my plantronics 510. Would love to hear if it is fixable. I've already bought myself a new one (tip - look at craigslist for a cheaper deal than even ebay and amazon)
