Well, welcome to our site and I'm sorry that you are having this problem. My suggestion would be for you to go to the bottom of this page and select "contacts". That is located down at the bottom of the page. On the contacts page select the 3rd link down "" and explain your situation to them. They should be able to resolve the issue for you.

Thanks for your request, hope this information helps and have a super day!

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Recent website outage led me to search about fixya. Found many people saying they were getting paid for answers, and others saying they were being charged for asking questions. What the deal?

I'm fairly new to this site, and all I know is I'm not getting paid. I like to help people, maybe some are trying to take advantage of people. I do know there are some sites that do charge for the help, but I haven't found that to be the case on here.

Where is the order that you charge me around $100 and a bit more

You are asking in the wrong place. You need to ask the company that is making the charges rather than a general answering site like Fixya. OK?

Hi there I want to know if the cv axle of 1994 subaru svx is the same with the cv axle of impreza, legacy or forester? Thanks

Wrong place to ask

You look on parts web sites
You look at auto part sites
You may at a salvage yard get cross reference data
Auto Parts Store if want to may look up several vehicles
to answer that

What you NEVER do is install any used part in any vehicle

What you do is go to Rock Auto.Com & buy a new or reman
& install it

No reason to even get into this

Just buy a new part, you do not want used in a
drive axle & have an unsafe vehicle

I was asking about use of Arbor Oil and not received any information. Why waste our time with this site? It is totally useless and crammed with junk ads.

No one is paid to give answers on fixya.
We're a bunch of old retired geezers who are reinforced for our efforts by advancing to different levels. I've got 27 points to go to my next milestone
...and we find this more interesting than other things people dwell on on line.

I have no idea what Arbor oil is so I skip questions like that. My table saw has sealed bearings on the arbor and no place to insert oil.

Also, every time you ask a question, assume the last answer came from someone who just died and went to heaven.
There is no coherent thread of questions maintained. I don't have any idea what your previous questions may have been. I get questions in the order they are posted from all over the English speaking world. they are organized by category only.

I'm looking for a raidator for a 95 Chevy Z71 350 4X4. I'm looking at the junk yard cause money is tight. Will any full size truck radiator work, or do I need to find the same make/model? Thanks

any full size GM truck with a 5.7L should work. from 1988 up to???? some trucks had a oil cooler, it hooks up to the left radiator tank.

Just found this site

I just do it to kill time. I have an elderly mother. Ibelong to several other sites
They say I have made 6 bucks so far. I have probably saved the people in this forum thousands in repair bills. I only began about a week ago.
I enjoy it. I suspect if you think each answer will pay 6 bucks you are wrong. They only pay on premium answers.
