Yes this board can be a solid gamming platform depending on how you plan to set it up. This is a uATX form factor, with onboard video graphics. You may be able to play older less video intensive games such as Diablo II or maybe even World of Warcraft with this board as is. However I would not recommend it this way for gamming.

With a mid range PCI Express video card you could play most of todays popular video games at medium settings. ($75.00 to 150.00) With a higher end PCI Express video card this board could be a very good gamming platform. ($150.00 to $300.00)

ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard screen flickering

Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M2N68AM/#download

Please select your windows system 32 or 64 bit.
Any file can be downloaded by open the driver folder, and click on global for download.
The file needs to be unziped before you install.

I think you have to upgrade the chipset driver.

You maybe need to uninstall the old driver before you install the new.

Check also the screen cable for proper connection.
Try to connect the screen to another pc to check if it is the screen that`s the problem.

You can also buy a graphic card to add on the mainboard for better performance.

Good luck

Graphic card problem

Sure you can upgrade and put a new graphics card in one of the pci slots.

Try Tiger Direct for graphics cards at:

http://www.tigerdirect.com

When the site comes up just put in Video Graphics Card in the search box and press GO. You can sort the list Price Low to High.

I am having D945GCNL motherboard Pl tell suitable graphic card.

Here is some info about your mainboard:

http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15115/eng/D945GCNL_TechProdSpec.pdf

It has the PCI-E socket for the graphic card add on.

ATI and NVIDIA makes good graphic cards
in all price level.

If you plan to use it for games the gtx series from nvidia is a good choise
and the highest numbers in ati are the best.

What bios are you using? Usually that error message can be disregarded since you can manually set the CPU clock, voltage, etc in the bios and it should work. Also, this might mean that the bios currently loaded is corrupted/broke. But since you did update the bios, to what version?
Also, are you using the integrated graphics for gaming? If so, that would not suffice for heavy gaming at high resolution. You should be using a dedicated video card for that.
As for system performance, how slow is it? What is your OS as well? can you try to download cpuid, and see if your processor is detected properly in windows.

I use an AMD M2N68 SE2 motherboard.I bough an NVIDIA 9500GT graphics card lately. Now my display will go out after a few minutes..

Hi. This is usually an indication of overheating. Make sure the fan on the graphics card is not blocked. Clean out any dust in your system and ensure adequate air flow across the CPU and the graphics card.

I would first check BIOS and disable Onboard video (if applicable) and then make sure that graphics port is set for PCI-e and not PCI or pci-e 1x or something.

Check that first. And make sure that card is all the way plugged in. You won't believe how many people don't plug it in all the way.
