Lexmark officeedge pro550 print drawer won't close with legal size paper in it

That's normal. If you extended the tray to accommodate legal-size paper, then the tray sticks out from the front of the printer when inserted.

When I choose default to letter size in Lexmark E460dn printer, it bumps to legel, asks to load legal paper and then prints 3/4 page. I do not want to print in legal size. I want it to stay at letter.

Please try to check the your drivers settings. The settings set on your driver will always override the printer settings. Please click on the link below, this will show you how to create custom size forms or paper size. http://bitly.com/nVAsX1 If you need further assistance please contact Lexmark Technical Support.

Blue smudge marks are printing on the edge of the paper

These defects normally occur when printing is attempted on unsupported media or when the printer is set up for a different type of media than the media that is actually loaded into the machine.

Check your media and ensure that it is suitable for use in the printer. Refer to the printer's user manual for information on supported media types and weights. Is the media you are printing on supported in the printer?

Ensure that the paper type is set accurately on the printer operator panel (go to Menu/Paper Menu/Size-Type/Tray1/Type). Is the paper type set correctly on the printer operator panel?

Change the paper weight setting to heavy on the printer operator panel (go to Menu/Paper Menu/Size-Type/Tray1/Type/Heavy Paper/Check button). Try printing your document again. Did the error return? If the error returns, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

I got the error message on my Lexmark C532n 200.26 and 200.16, there is no paper jammed, the Lexmark technician asked me to change the paper pick up roller which we did, but we are still getting the error...

The 200.16 jam indicates that the input sensor was covered when the printer was powered on or reset, or a cover was opened/closed.

You may also check the following:

1. The paper being used is within specification and has been loaded correctly.

2. Any previous jams have been completely removed.

3. The printing environment is within acceptable temperature and humidity ranges.

4. If the tray was overfilled or a paper jam occurred, sheets of paper may have come off the media stack.

5. If you don

Can't figure out how to print on statement sized paper.

After I had been attempting to adjust the paper guides in the feeder tray to accommodate statement-size paper, I finally "discovered" the drop-down door to the manual feed tray.  Duh!  This is a networked printer that I've only ever used for printing letter and legal sized documents until now.
