Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9564J Top Load Washer
On the "normal" wash cycle, the washer stops just before draining and rinsing. There is a humm coming from the timer/setting knob and a faint electrical smell. I turned to the "gentle" rinse cycle and it drained and completed the load.
Is this a bad timer/switch and how do you replace it? I assume you just pull the back off to access it, but if it is very difficult I won't bother.
Sound to me its the lid switch jump out it will complete cycle replace door switch

Ok if you look at the back corners on the back of console,,on each side you will see a screw in recess it a phillips head,,just remove these 2 screws 1 on each side ..than flip the console back towards the back of unit..replace timer...onthejob
