Question about Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - Pentium Dual Core T2060 1.6 GHz - 15.4in. TFT PC Desktop
I have a lenovo 3000/N100 laptop.
Out of the blue, when I started my computer, it launched well and came up with the user log-in screen, when I entered the password, it looked as if it's about to start up but instead the screen froze with a long high beeping sound.
Hey there, Jiggyboo!
From what you're telling us, it may be something as simple as having a key on the keyboard stuck down. A key may have gone bad, or something may have gotten dropped down between and/or underneath a key. Check out all of the keys to see if this is the case. Hold up the keyboard and look across the tops of the keys. They should all be the same height. Also, you can try slowly pressing each key and make sure that they all feel the same. I would especially start with the keys that you use to enter your password as that seemed to be when the problem started.
Hope this helps and have a good day.
