Quinny Buzz front swivel wheel won't lock.

I've had the front swivel wheel locked since i bought the buggy. Today i unlocked it for the first time to try it out. Found it rather difficult to control thus i tried to lock it again. Just keeps swivelling! Have checked out instructions and pressed lock lever down then turned wheel into backwards position. Apparently i should hear a click and that means it's locked. No click no lock! Please can anyone help as i cannot use the buggy as it is...

When in 'swivel' mode front wheel turns wildly making it difficult to control and even stops the buggy when the wheel 'stick' at right angles to the buggy

In normal use, the front wheel needs to swivel freely - then this stroller's drive is easy and manageable with one hand (we know from extensive use with 2 kids and shopping on board).

The front wheel normally can not collide with the car. If the wheel assembly / lock is not correctly inserted, it can lock / unlock uncontrolled: try to disengage and mount the front wheel unit again.

Unsufficient tire pressure can also detoriate the drive.

I bought a second hand stroller, quinny freestyle 3xl comfort. I did not get the user manual and i forgot to ask how to block the swivel wheel in the front. Can you help me?

According to the manual:

To lock it into the fixed position, rotate the swivel lock until 2 straight arrows appear in the display.

The front wheel on my quinny buzz 3 hardly moves and makes steering the pram very difficult. Especially on tiled floors, such as shopping centres. The wheel isn't locked, so it's on the swivel wheel...

Hi,

The best thing to do is to remove the front wheel (depress the black buttons either side of the front axle and pull!) then completely clean the wheel assembly in warm water and a SMALL amount of gentle detergent, then dry completely, apply a small amount of vaseline or similar, then replace. This should help.

We bought a 3 weels quinny stroler 2 years ago , it opens very easy when we take it aut of the trunk , my wife olmost broke her fingers , this hapen the second time . theres no safety on it . i went to see...

The Buzz you bought was fitted with a safety strap. If you stand at your buggy as though pushing it, on the left side of the handle just below where the top rails turns through 90 degrees towards the buggy, there should be a plastic O of a piece of tight bungee elastic that pulls out and snaps over a pin on the chassis when in the folded position. If this is not there then it has been broken off. I suggest you speak with Dorel UK 01842 763 281 (Mon ? Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). They are the sole supplier of parts/repair for Quinny in the UK

How to fold a quinny buzz

Hi, you can download the manual from the quinny website, but as a quick guide, the best I found was - first stand with your foot against the front wheel (so it doesnt move forward) then press the grey buttons on either side of the chassis and at the same time draw the frame downwards towards your foot, please remember you can only fold down with the seat in place if the seat is facing forward (ie baby facing outwards) it wont fold down with the seat facing mum, there are also demos on you tube, hope ive helped and not been too complicated :)
