No sound

There are a number of different reasons why your computer may no longer give sound.
Check the Speaker Connections and Volume Control Settings

Verify that the lack of sound is not due to faulty speaker connections. A simple way to test it is to substitute the speaker connection with headphones and see if you get any sound.

My speaker sound terrible its like my speaker is grounded

Check your sounds software first, sometimes the software problem can give terrible output, check in the input plug ,the wrong plug can give terrible sound quality if that too doesn
't work see your setting for sounds.

I bought a new computer but the sound is not on.

When you double click on the volume icon (lower right down by the time) what does it say? Sometimes when you plug in speakers they automatically mute to avoid extremely loud and unpleasant eruptions of sound. Assuming all of that is ok have you plugged your external speakers into power? Computers require powered speakers to operate, either a/c or battery. They should have an on/off swith and a volume control, I imagine you've tried those? If yes right click on your sound icon and select sounds. Click on the playback tab and select your new speakers. Hit the configure tab and the set up will guide you from there.

No sound

You really need to give more details.

1) Model Number of Your Computer.
2) Operating System (Windows XP or Windows Vista)

"No Sound" could be multiple things.

1) Are your speakers turned on?
2) Are your speakers plugged into the right port on your computer?
3) Is the speaker down by your clock there?
4) If it is, is there a red "x" on it meaning it's muted?
5) If the speaker isn't there, have you installed the drivers for your sound card?

If you get to step 5, and it still doesn't work, give the extra details requested and I can link you to where to get your drivers.
