Question about Xerox One Touch 2400 Flatbed Scanner
You might have two program trying to use the scanner at the same time & the scanner is confused.Find out what programs you are using.Hint...even printer programs may use scanner drivers. 2nd.you MUST use the EXACT scanner driver for your scanner. Windows will see the scanner "locked out"

This Scanner has a lock located on the underside to lsecure the scanner head when in transit.
Locate this switch underneath the scanner and move to the unlocked position. Voila !

I am a Support Engineer with Xerox Scanners.
The Xerox 4800 do not have a supported Windows 7 driver. The scanner only supports Vista, XP, 2000, ME, and 98. I recommend trading the Xerox 4800 for a supported windows 7 scanner.
