Question about Canon CanoScan 3000F Flatbed Scanner
I got the driver installed fine, every time i go to scan, it comes up with "Select a Source" Box but theres nothing in it for me to select Does anyone have any ideas?
Hi, a possible explanation why the CanoScan 3000F does not show in the Source Box selection is because Windows does not recognize it as being connected. To check, you have to go to Device Manager, Imaging Devices, expand it and see if the CanoScan 3000F is installed. If it is not there, then you would have to reinstall the drivers. Another possibility is a faulty USB cable or the USB port connector itself. Try a different cable or a different USB port. Another way of looking at it is that you were able to install the scanning software but not the actual driver(s) of the scanner. Hope this be of help to you.
