Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

C drive consuming space even only i do net surfing

When i reinstal my os windows vista home primium my c drive shows it occupied 14 gb space but only i do net surfing it occupid space 30gb evev i did not downloded any thing

    when i reinstalled Windows Vista, the C: drive had 14Gb of occupied space, and now after 4hour it's occupying 30Gb, when i have not installed anything?

Just search the files which are larger than 100mb in your c drive and go for mcafee 8.5i virus scan

If the defrag is running slow and/or runs along time but does seem like finishing look at how much free space you have. If you have less than 15% free space this will not allow you to get a good defrag of the system. You might try moving some files to another drive while you do the defrag. Also try uninstalling some programs this can help too. Then after you get the system defraged then you can put the files back and reinstall your programs.

Minimum requirement for vista


Windows Vista minimum supported system requirements Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate:
800 MHz processor and 512 MB of system memory, 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space, Support for Super VGA graphics, DVD-ROM drive.
But i recommend at least 1GB RAM for Vista Home Basic - Home Premium and at least 2GB RAM for the rest.

thanks for mail me. for this u can go to my computer and then find out tools which is status bar in ur computer. then click tools> folder option> unchecked from hide files and forder/ show file extension/ and last is show operation system file.when asked yes/ no then click yes and apply. at this time u will get any file from ur pc. thnaks

Type the following text in notepad

Save this file as recover.reg [.reg is extension for regfiles]
Double click on it.
Log off is essential.
