I have all of my MP3 files stored in Windows Media Player ver10.0. Sony requires ver 11.0.

All 3000 songs I have previously downloaded into Windows Library will not copy to Walkman? I can play the file in Windows Media Player and I can "act" like I am transferring the music into Walkman from the Walkman dropdown box in WMPlayer the songs actually say that they are copying but when you go to view them in the actual Walkman the files have not copied?

If I burn an actual CD into MP3 windows library and then transfer it to Walkman it works?

Sonys music manager will not work with WMP ver 10.0. What can I do?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

Greetings!
Once you insert the mp3 player, the computer automatically detect the device, were you can see the folder inside of your mp3, create a folder from file, new, folder.

Now open the folder where the music was downloaded usually you can see that file at my document, save/complited folder, select all the file, copy

Open the new folder (which you created) in the mp3 then paste the songs that was downloaded.

To play the music in the mp3 player, just find the folder you created.
Thanks

CANT LOAD ONTO MY MP3 PLAYER

RCA TH1100 series - won't play/display all songs:
There are two possibilities - corrupt DB or songs in wrong format.
If it is a corrupt DB, then go to RCA's website for the latest firmware upgrade.
http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads.aspx?product=25
Make sure the songs are in the correct format. Make sure the songs are not AAC, WAV, streaming, or some other non-supported format
Mp3 players are more complicated than ever. This player may only accept DRM-encrypted WMA files. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license. If the song says that it has no license, it will not work with this player. One remedy is to use mp3 converter software to convert all of those wma files to Mp3's - I don't know of any free ones, but you can certainly look for free Mp3 Converters. Another remedy on unlicensed songs is to hit the "acquire license" link in the license tab, if one exists.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.

CANT PUT FILES ONTO PLAYER

if they are CD-R's or CD-RW's then they might contain a virus in one of the songs, so the mp3 player will not allow it to go in, or it just wont play the type of music file.
