Question about Televison & Video
I have a samsung lcd tv that showed the computer no problem but for some reason it now says format not supported i dont know if its something to do with computer settings of the tv please help
First, make sure you do not have a bad cable going from the PC to the TV.
On your computer try the following:
Go to START, CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY PROPERTIES
Make sure you have the secondary monitor enabled.
Set the screen size for the secondary monitor to 800 X 600
Go to ADVANCED PROPERTIES and make sure the refresh rate for the secondary monitor is set to 60HZ.
These settings on the PC should make the picture compatible with most all TV monitors. If the problem still persists then you may indeed have something wrong with the TV.
