Trying to hook up a dlink router using cricket broadband wireless modem. need help?!?!?

Cable-modem (or DSL-modem) --> WAN port on CRICKET

and you _have_ a wireless network, without using the D-Link.

If you really want to get yourself confused:

LAN port on Cricket <--- Ethernet "cross-over" cable ---> WAN port on D-Link router.

Resetting your router will cure this problem. Some how you got your router confused, and by resetting will bring back to working order. You will need your username and password to get back on the internet. After you reset the username is blank, and the password is admin.

I cannot connect 2 laptops to the router i can only connect 1 at a time im just a little confused on how to go about setting up both laptops? both are running on windows vista

You need to make sure that your DHCP range on your router is set properly and that both computers are set to DHCP and not static IP addresses.

Pc not finding network ...internet working (going thru router) but not finding network. cant get to login screen for router to adjust any settings. Ps3 cant communicate with wireless router either....

I think you will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
try changing the wireless channel on the router.
make sure that the SSID broadcast is enabled.
for this you will need to access the router set up.
