How old is this dryer? If it is older than 12-15 years, get a new one. It could be a sign of the beginning of the end. The motor could be going out. Hopefully that is all that it is. The motor will act this way when it fixes to go out. Make sure thare is nothing binding against the motor or drum.

The buzzing is probably the relay trying to start the motor. See if the motor has a capacitor, have it checked. If the motor is all clogged with lint, the start/run switch can get blocked. Clean out all that lint with a vacuum cleaner.
Check the tub bearing, and make sure the drum spins freely.
You have a bad motor. There should be a button you can press to make your dryer go while the door is open. Hold that and push the button in and then turn the drum. if that doesn't make it go then it is your motor
If The dryer is not turning then the motor is locked up or possibly dirty open the door and push the door switch in turn the drum and push the start button it should start to run if it does you should clean out the motor. If that does not solve the problem replace the motor
Humming indicates motor is getting weak. If you look in the back compartment of your dryer you can probably see the belt. You can relieve the belt tension and then take the belt off the motor pulley. Once you do this, make sure the belt is out of the way and push the start button. If the motor turns it means it couldn't push the weight and is too weak to run. It make not turn without the belt on it either but you will hear if the sound is coming from the motor. In either case you need a new dryer or new motor if the dryer is pretty new.
Reach in and turn the drum. It should be very easy to turn. If it is hard to turn you need to determine if it is : The rollers The idler If you have this crappy idler chunk it in favor of the one above with a wheel. The glide band and felt The motor. I have a manual
If you push the start button and you here a buzzing sound, This sounds like the motor is bad.
Somthing you can try and this might not work. but open the dryer door and turn the drum a littel bit then close the door and try to start it. If it starts running again then you have hit a bad spot on the motor.
If it just still just makes the buzzing noise then the motor is most likley bad.
Sounds like the belt that turns the drum has broken. the hum sound is the motor turning. Does it still get hot in the drum? If so then you need a replacement belt ($15-$25).You can open the rear or the dryer to confirm the belt is broken. Be sure to unplug from the wall outlet to avoid electrical shock.
Remove the belt from the motor and push 'start'. If the motor makes loud noises, squeals, or the shaft has side play in several directions, then it probably is the motor. Replace it. If the the motor runs quietly, then check the drum by hand to see if it is making excessive noise while turning. There should be a little resistance to turning, but not real difficulty. Hope this helps.
