Two options two be checked 1)this happens if the cartridges are at the end of the ink.for this cartridge replacement is required. 2)if the head in which cartridges r installed this happens.for this the head needs manual cleaning internally.

Canon ip4850 print quality

Whats the question?? if poor quality printing, it could be dirty ink cartridges, dirt on the print head, poor quality paper ??? try looking at the printer settings, sometimes they may be set to economy rather than top quality printing.

Blurred officejet 4620 photo

Have you checked to be sure that -
  • you've designated the paper type as one of the photo type papers?
  • you've designated the print quality as either Normal or Best (NOT Draft or Quick or similar low-quality print)?
  • you're using one of the photo-type papers?
  • none of the ink cartridges is low on ink?

How do i clean the print heads on a oki c5200

With the top cover open, gently wipe the LED head(s) with the lens cleaner pad supplied with replacement toner cartridges. A soft, lint-free cloth with some isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)** can also be used.As the last step before closing the cover when replacing a toner cartridge or an image drum.
If you are experience poor print quality, including
- longitudinal white stripes or fading
- blurred letter edges
CAUTION! Do not use methyl alcohol or other solvents on the LED heads: this will damage the lens surface.

I cannot believe, after I bought a Kodak printer and use Kodak ink, that you would tell me that I will get better help if I grease the palm of your technicians! Ethics anyone??? My Easyshare 5300 is...

This printer was slated for poor quality performance.
Problems included:
Inkheads drying up
Alignment issues
Incorrect pressure on feed rollers / prints dragging

A lot of returns with damaged print heads, I'd suggest you do a RTB and state it is not fit for purpose

The print is readable but blurred, looks smudged and prints pictures blurred too.

Align the print cartridges after installing them to improve print quality. To do this:

1. Load plain paper.

2. Open the Lexmark Solution Center.

3. From the Maintenance tab, click Align to fix blurry edges.

4. Click Print.

Hope that helps.

Poor copy quality

there are 3 reason if the copy gray & less sharp:
1) the toner you are using is not compatible very well with the cartridge unit if you changed other compatible toner.
2) the cartridge going near the life-cycle, (also cause print blurred)
3) the photo drum going near the life-cycle
you may try to change the quality toner (original factory). or
change the cartridge if it is out of the life-cycle

Brother MFC-210c prints some lines blurred, letters stacked - alignment ok.

i have the same problem. repeated cleanings seem to help, when i print large fonts they come out pretty clear, but the smaller the font, the worse the blurring. 600 DPI prints mismatching patterns, but 1200 DPI prints perfectly fine. so i have found that printing on "fine" quality instead of "fast" or "normal" quality improves print quality ALOT. it uses more ink, but i am in business and need to be able to read very fine print!
