Have you cleaned the machine lately? the float may be dirty and getting stuck and not shutting down the water as it should.

theree should be a sump wherer the pump pumps oout the water from. look there and that is where the float is usually to clecn all you need is white vinigar and let it cicrculate through the system for a coule of miniutes and then rinse it resak good.

How do i turn my ice maker off? i have a viking side by side and the ice maker is just pouring water in my freezer...its a mess!

Turn the water off under the sink where the small line starts that goes to the fridge or there may be a cut off directly behind the fridge in the supply line.
Your water inlet valve may be stuck open. It's where the water supply connects to the fridge.

Viking freezer leaking

you have a clogged drain, it is either clogged with ice or some kind of debris, thaw the freezer out and push a length of weed trimmer line down the drain. The drain is accessible by removing the back wall of the inside of the freezer. If there is no clog then the drain may be freezing up, if that is the case, take a piece of 14 gauge romex wire and loop it several times around the heating element at the bottom of the evaporator and push a few inches of it into the drain, this will get hot and transfer heat when it goes into a defrost cycle which is where the water is coming from in the first place

Freezer ice maker not making hardly any ice

if the temperature of the freezer is above normal (0-5 degrees) the icemaker will not function properly -- you've probably got sealed system issues -- listen to see if the compressor is running -- if so, more than likely have either a leak or a restriction in the sealed system -- if less than 5 yrs old -- call the manufacturer, it might be covered.
