Hello there again: if you can also remove the kick plateat the bottom of the refrigerator and inspect under there too and also if you are done in the chat room could you please do me a favor and press the end session box and rate the session for me
Turn the water off under the sink where the small line starts that goes to the fridge or there may be a cut off directly behind the fridge in the supply line. Your water inlet valve may be stuck open. It's where the water supply connects to the fridge.
you have a clogged drain, it is either clogged with ice or some kind of debris, thaw the freezer out and push a length of weed trimmer line down the drain. The drain is accessible by removing the back wall of the inside of the freezer. If there is no clog then the drain may be freezing up, if that is the case, take a piece of 14 gauge romex wire and loop it several times around the heating element at the bottom of the evaporator and push a few inches of it into the drain, this will get hot and transfer heat when it goes into a defrost cycle which is where the water is coming from in the first place
If the ice bucket is over filling there may be a problem with the ice maker as this should stop making ice when the bucket is full. The ice in the bucket can freeze together just due to the weight of ice cubes . I suggest you check the ice within the bucket is all broken up and not frozen into big lumps
if the temperature of the freezer is above normal (0-5 degrees) the icemaker will not function properly -- you've probably got sealed system issues -- listen to see if the compressor is running -- if so, more than likely have either a leak or a restriction in the sealed system -- if less than 5 yrs old -- call the manufacturer, it might be covered.
