Please rephrase the question. You are probably not getting any answers because nobody can figure out what you are asking.

HOW DO I CHECK THE POTENTIOMETER

This is not a difficult task, but it will require a multimeter with an "Ohm" function(designated by the Omega symbol, usually.) Make sure you have the probes in the correct position on the meter, and the selector switch on the correct setting. If your meter has settings for multiple resistance ranges, use the highest first. You can fine-tune later. Both should be designated by the "Omega" symbol or by the word "Ohm." Place the leads in the plug sockets. you should have an initial numeric reading. If you have a reading of "OL" this means your pot is shot or your meter is turned too low. That is why you should start at the highest setting. If you do have an initial numerical reading, the number should drop steadily as you press the pedal. If it starts with an "OL" and suddenly kicks to a numeric reading, your pot is partially shorted and will need to be replaced. If this sounds too vague or you need further help, feel free to reply. Best of luck!

Factors of -14abc/12ac

That is not factoring you need but simplifying.
First you deal with the numerical numbers -14/12=-7/6
Then consider the letters a/a=1
c/c=1
Thus (-14abc/12ac)=(-7/6)(a/a)b(c/c)=(-7/6)(1)(b)(1)=-7b/6
If you have a product each symbol separated by a multiplication sign from another symbol is called a factor. Remember that the multiplication sign is not always shown.

Number pad does not work

  1. Find Alt code.

Numeric Alt codes for symbols are listed in Alt codes list. Check for Alt code of symbol you want to input.

  2. Enable Num Lk.

You may need to simultaneously press ["FN" and "Scr Lk"] keys. That's the combination for "Num Lock" on some laptops. Look at the picture - the "Num Lk"/"Scr Lk" button is highlighted there.

  3. Hold down "Alt" key.

Some laptops require you to hold both "Alt" and "FN" keys.

  4. Input Alt code of symbol on Keypad.

Do this while holding "Alt" button pressed. Type Alt code on your laptop's numeric keypad. It's highlighted on the picture.

  5. Release all the keys.

After you release all the keys alt symbol should be entered. If all this stuff didn't work - check if you have really enabled the "Num Lock" first. Remember that green indicator should shine near the lock symbol on your laptop's keyboard. If that wasn't the case - try simultaneously holding "FN" and "Alt" keys instead of just "Alt". That just might work.

What is the meaning of the mathimatical expression

n mathematics, an expression is a finite combination of symbols that are well-formed according to the rules applicable in the context at hand. Symbols can designate values (constants), variables, operations, relations, or can constitute punctuation or other syntactic entities.
Any "expression" that represents a numeric value. Example: 2+2=4 or x+7=10. Actually the examples above are equations, not expressions. Expressions do not have = signs. 7a and 4x are examples.
it is a mathematical statement e.g 7=6+1 THE WHOLE THING IS AN EQUATION but the 6+1 is a expression. You can only have expression is there is an = sign
Yes the 6 + 1 part is an expression. Once you have an = sign or any of the other inequality symbols (,...) it is no longer an expression but a full math sentence

I NEED A MANUAL TO SHOW HOW TO GET MULTIFUNCTION KEYS TO WORK. FOR EXAMPLE HOW DO I GET THE ALTERNATE USE OF THE "NUMERIC 6 "KEY ie THE" QUESTION MARK" FUNCTION

You must have a different keyboard selected other than the standard US keyboard My numeral 6 has ^ on it and the numeric keypad 6 has a right arrow. One generally uses the SHIFT key to access symbols that are written above the main alpha or numeric key. The numeric keypad on side of PC has a button labeled key marked NUMLOCK that is engaged to allow use of the numerals as a calculator or to also be inserted into text.

The pound symbol

I am unable to answer your problem that why you are not getting the required symbol if it is there (Hope that you are pressing the no. 3 with Shift key pressed).
But if you need a Pound sign you can get it by pressing 0163 key from the right side numeric keypad while pressing the alt key (i.e. alt+0163).
Remember that you cannot use the upper number key for this purpose.
