Question about Nintendo Wii Console
We just bought a new Wii. We had one before but the kids burnt out the laser. This new Wii will not move past the inital setup screen for choosing a language. We turn the Wii on and it tells you to press the A button. This part works as it then asks you to choose a language. Nothing works at this point!
We had the same issue. Select your language first by pointing the controller and hitting the "a" button. Then, point the controller down to the bottom of the screen. There is a "confirm" or "OK" at the bottom right of the screen that you can't see.

If you have your screen on zoom, or wide screen, the confirm button or "ok" buttton at the bottom may not be able to be seen. Make your screen view smaller, so you can see the whole view.
