Hi .. If ypou are gtetting air in the basket, then ytou have a leak somewhere in the system. start by closing off the skimmer, bottom, cleaner one at a time and see when the air stops gettingt in. Is there enough water level to cover the skimmer? have you checked the seal on the strainer at the pump? you might be able top hear hissing if it is at the pump.

Heat pump blows out cold air with heat on

If your heat pump is blowing out cold air while the heat is on, it could be caused by a few different issues. Some common causes include:
  1. Low refrigerant levels: If the refrigerant levels in your heat pump are low, it can cause the system to blow out cold air. This can be due to leaks in the system or other issues.
  2. Dirty air filter: A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the system, causing it to blow out cold air.
  3. Faulty thermostat: A malfunctioning thermostat can cause the heat pump to blow out cold air instead of heat.
  4. Faulty reversing valve: The reversing valve is responsible for switching the flow of refrigerant between heating and cooling mode, if this valve is faulty, the heat pump could blow out cold air when the heat is on.
  5. Defective fan motor: If the fan motor is not working properly, it may not be able to circulate warm air through the ducts.
It's best to consult a HVAC professional to diagnose and fix the issue. if i was able to help my cashapp $ralphpapi thank you have a blessing day

I have a central air and heat unit e2eb-012ha.we turn the heat on and it just blows out cold air instead of warm air and it'll kick on but won't kick back off for like maybe 2 minutes

If your system starts to blow cool air when your Nest thermostat is in Heat mode (or if it blows warm air when its in Cool mode), change the settings for orientation of your heat pump. The instructions depend on which thermostat you have

Unit blows cool air while in heat mode

model number? Heat pumps tend to blow cooler air than a space heater unless in money-gobbling mode.

Home AC only blows cool air when set to fan. When placed on Auto/fan it doesn't blow and no heat.

At your thermostat ,
Set switch to heat, turn up temp switch.
Fan should be set to auto. Wait up to 5 mins to be surethat somthing is wrong. If your fan comes on without heat. Check gas valve or if heat pump check main a/c breaker. If elect heat or any of above dosn't work.
Call a service company. If your in Pensacola. Look up Absolute Heating and Air Conditioning.

Heat Pump - blows heat to set temp, then off, then kicks on to blow cold

Heat pumps defrost which is the AC mode, if the heat strip isnt working during a defrost, the air will be cold, A heat pump only feels warm if the heat strips are on too! the refrigeration cycles heat output is much less sensible to our 98F skin. heat pumps that satisfy a room setpoint are working at least, all heat pumps feel drafty to most.

Heat pumps require specific heat pump thermostat. If you are trying to install a thermostat that is generic forget it. A heat pump is a diff animal than a central unit. Get the thermostat that matches your system. A generic won't cut it.

The ac starts out cold and stays that way on hwy driving but starts blowing warm air in stop and go traffic. why?

Either clutch coil is heating up and letting go Or one of the sensors is defective. Or there is a restriction somewhere in the line (open up hood and look for frost on a/c lines.)

Can somebody help, why is my Central AC blows

Most heat pumps have an auxillary heat. Many are electric auxillary heat with a heat strip in the air handler. A common malfunction is for the electric auxillary heat to operate when the heat pump is set on cool. To confirm this, locate the conductor that runs from the heat sequencer to the connection on the heat strip. You will see this on the top section of the air handler. Use the clamp on part of the amp meter over that wire. If the thermostat is set on cool and the heat strip is drawing amps, it means the heat is coming on while the heat pump is set on cool. There is usually one or two causes for this, either the sequencer is bad or there is low voltage wires usually behind the thermostat or in the air handler closet that are touching that shouldn't be touching.

If this is not the case, if its not a problem of where the heat is coming on with the air conditioner, it could be a case of the reversing valve malfunctioning. The way a heat pump works is it reverses the flow of the refridgerant. For instance, many heat pumps the reversing valve is activated in cool. That would mean that there is a low voltage circuit that activates the reversing valve when the heat pump is in cool. I'm not sure what model/brand your heat pump is, Goodman and Janitrol for instance, the heat pump reversing valve is activated in cool. In any case, if the reversing valve is not operating properly, when the air conditioning is set to cool it will actually be heating. Or you could set it to heat and it may actually be cooling instead of heating. Please check these two items first and if you have any further questions, please let me know. Especially if you know of any additional problems like the evaporater is icing up or if the air handler fan is not operating when it should.

Bryant Legacy Line air conditioning not blowing cool air..

Your outdoor condenser is in heat mode. Check the wires on the thermostat. Sounds like a small wiring problem and nothing else. Good luck. Please keep me posted as to you progress.
