Re: Pandora Battery

Thank you so much!

I'd rather buy those tow instead of making my own which may have the possibility to destroy my PSP..

Does the Pandora Battery have the custom firmware in it??

If i buy new Magic Memory Stick, will I be able to use my old memo stick?? 'coz my games there doesn't work on the other PSP's..

The Pandora Battery is what allows you to put your PSP into service mode. In this mode you can use a specially formatted memory stick a.k.a. - magic memory stick in order to upgrade or downgrade your firmware.

If you buy a magic memory stick and are done using the data on it to upgrade/downgrade you can format it and put other files onto it when done.

We offer PSP firmware repair starting at $49.99. We accept Paypal, check, money order, and wire transfer, Please contact me or visit our website if you are interested.

Your PSP is Bricked! No worries, buy or make a Pandora Battery and A Magic Memory Stick using your friends PSP, Google it if you want to make the 2 items.
If you wan't to fix your PSP, insert your Magic Memory Stick and Pandora Battery in to your PSP, then go to YouTube and search for "How to fix PSP with Pandora battery and Magic memory stick". Reply me with "@GadgetSucker" if you still have a problem.

pandora and magik stick cannot be used with psp 3k models.. you have to wait until a working exploit is found.. and dont EVER upgrade your psp if you want to do something with it.. google is you friend. take a look at mohh exploit.. still in the verry beginning.. but very promising.

PSP wont Turn On. =(

well if your psp won't turn on then the only way to fix it without buying another psp is to make a pandora battery and magic memory stick or buy a pandora battery from www.pandorasales.com. the pandora battery places the psp into service mode and the magic memory stick has the installation files to recover the psp through the recovery menu. I suggest using at least a 2 GB memory stick at least or purchasing the pandora kit fromm www.pandorasales.com it will fix you guaranteed.

Pandora Battery

I read through your other posts and found that other people had given you some wrong information. Namely, one user told you that you can upgrade to a custom firmware from an official 4.xx firmware. Trust me, you cannot do this.

If you are already upgraded beyond 1.50 (you may have bought your PSP with a higher firmware than 1.50), you have no other choice than to:
A. buy a modchip or
B. use pandora's battery method.
Pandora's battery is much easier for those of us that don't want to physically open the PSP and alter it. The Pandora's battery process will require a PSP, Pandora's Battery, and "Magic" Memory stick.

You can make a pandora's battery by opening your current battery and altering it. The process is actually rather simple, but the downfall is that once you change it, it won't work normally anymore. So, you'll end up buying another battery. I recommend leaving your battery alone and buying a pandora's battery.

In addition to the battery, you must make a "Magic Memory Stick" or MMS. You may either buy a MMS or make one yourself. To make a MMS, you simply load certain files onto your current memory stick, which you may later remove if necessary. Unlike the Pandora's battery, the memory stick is not permanently altered. You can read how to make a MMS HERE. Download what is in the link on the first post and follow the given instructions.

I found that you can buy both the Pandora's battery and Magic Memory Stick (MMS) HERE for a decent price. If you want to get to a custom firmware with the least hassle, just buy them both instead of making them yourself. Or you could make your Memory stick into a MMS and just buy the pandora's battery, which is also available on the website i mentioned.

If all of this may seem like too much to handle, it is MUCH easier to buy a PSP on eBay or other online store that is already a custom firmware.
I may consider selling mine, actually. It is 5.00 m33-4 custom firmware, which runs iso, cso, custom programs and n64,ps1,gba,snes,gbc games.

If you are unsure about any of the processes I have mentioned, search for guides or tutorials on google. There are a lot of them. Also youtube has guides that are helpful. Honestly, search google before anywhere else. Remember that many of your questions can be answered through google because I guarantee that someone else has already asked your question somewhere else. That's how I learned how to do the whole process.

Hope this leads you in the right direction.

PSP light flashes but doesn't turn on.

its bricked. that means that your psp's memory is locked up. what you can do is make a pandora battery. this puts the psp into service mode, and allows you to un-brick the psp. there are two ways to do this. 1: buy a service battery by datel which is located here http://www.gp2xstore.com/Datel_Battery_Slim_PSP_Tool_Pandoras_Battery_p/049.htm

or 2. contact me for instructions on how to make your own custom pandora battery
