It sounds as though the jailbreak software has messed up. The best thing that you can do really is to plug it in and restore it with Itunes,, This will put it back to it's correct software (no longer jailbroken) but this will cure the problem. You will have to get it jailbroken again after though. Hope this helps :o)

You are in what is called a BootLoop
    Restore your device:

Hold the Power + Home button for 10 seconds,
Release Power button, keep holding Home for 5 seconds,
Plug into iTunes and restore it

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.
Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.
Alternative Method:

Step 1. Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.
Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.
Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.

Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac or PC

    Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

    Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

The iPhone screen will remain black like this:

NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

How to format IPHONE3G.

Formatting an iPhone 3G will erase all the data on your phone, delete all your apps and reset your phone to factory settings. Formatting your phone is a good last resort if you're having software issues with your phone. Keep in mind that the format is permanent and any data irrecoverable.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Click the "Settings" icon.

2.Select "General."

3.Scroll to the bottom and select "Reset."

4.Select "Erase All Content and Settings." A warning message will display. Confirm your selection. The iPhone screen will turn off then show a "waiting" sign. After formatting is complete, the Apple logo will display and finally your formatted iPhone will reboot.

My iPhone 3G suddenly stopped working. The screen

In certain situations, an iPhone will automatically go into recovery mode after an update or restore issue. If your device is already in recovery mode, you can attempt to restore using iTunes.

Please follow steps on this link http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

Note: Restoring your device will delete all the data from your iPhone or iPod touch, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All iPhone or iPod touch settings are restored to their factory condition.

My Iphone 3G blutooth doesntwork and have internet problems.

the iPhone doesnt actually have the ability to send and recieve files from other phones. Its just for the headset ability. If your phone is Jailbroken you may find some programs out there that allows you to send and recieve messages and find other phones via Bluetooth. YES going on the internet without a DATA PLAN will cost you money. It depends on what carrier you are with, it will very on how much per kilobyte. You can not record videos unless you phone is jailbroken. Then you can download the ability to use the camera as a video recorder. Some of the programs are the following: Cycorder and 3G video recorder. Hope this helps!

Iphone 3G stuck on emergency call mode..

Try to reinstall a jailbroken version of the iPhone OS.
Do not (ever) use reset to factory if you need the device to be jailbroken to function (e.g. in case you are using an officially unsupported operator/plan)

My jailbroken iphone won't turn on after I reset data and settings. my iphon won't turn

That happened to me too. When you erase everything like apps, music, photos, etc in the settings, It starts to delete everything. It has something to do with the bootrom. It resets it when that happens.

My iphone doesn't turn on

Try doing a factory restore using iTunes or QuickPWN and if you need to jailbreak it again, be careful what apps you download from cydia...some of them cause problems with jailbroken iPhones, just research online for which ones are notorious for problems
