Question about D-Link 802.11g Wireless Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310)
When i connect thruogh router it works on my laptop but cannot get online on desktop, so to go online on desktop i hve to unplug router & connect directly to DSL modem, the dsl people tell me its not modem bcse i can get online when connected to it, the d-link people say its not router bcse my laptop is able to connect online when connected, thn chkd wt dell manufacture to check interface card & that is also ok, But when i use them together my desktop still cant connect, & when i try configuring network settings on ''automatically obtain ip address'' it keeps saying ''aquiring ip address'' , ut never does? tech people dont knw why this is happening!, does anyone else know wht i can try? thanks
Try typing another website on the address bar.
Try checking on your router advaced setting make sure that Mac filtering is off under network filter.
Make sure all other settting on the advaced setting are also in default setting.
