Question about Logitech V220 Mouse

1 Answer

V220 optical mouse is not working with VISTA

Download says it only works with the native drivers and to uninstall itouch, etc. I don't know how to do all of that! The product info on the package says it works with VISTA - that is misleading to the consumer and I'm angry!

yes, I had it turned on and I received an error message. That's when I went to the website to download the software and it said I had to disable something for VISTA to work.

similar problem. Windows found the mouse and installed it, the cursor moves, etc. But the left button double click does not work. If you want to open something, you have to right click and select open! I have tried this mouse on both a Vista and Xp pro machines, with the same results.

First thing you might check is, there is an on/off switch on the bottom of that mouse that could have gotten turned off by accident. It is there to save battery while the computer is on. It could have gotten turned off by accident. Did the computer show new hardware in the tray when you plugged in the receiver?

I have logitech Y-RK49 keyboard & mouse combo... were as i need the drivers for it for the win 7 operating system.... do help on this topic

This device uses the native drivers when used with Microsoft 7.

This product originally shipped with either iTouch or MouseWare, which are not compatible with Win7. I strongly recommend to uninstall iTouch and/or MouseWare if you have them installed. After iTouch and MouseWare are uninstalled, the basic functionality of your devices will be provided by the Windows native driver.

Hi three, uninstall the Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver from the laptop and then restart the laptop again. Now install that Logitech V220 Cordless optical mouse driver again . I am sure its will start working. If not then make sure your batter Is properly fixed inside in the mouse & that's fully charged. After those thing if still not working then visit service center, because the mouse censer stop working and its damaged.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

My Logitech V220 mouse worked for 3 months. Now it doesnt?

I would go in and uninstall the mouse completely and then reinstall it fresh using the Logitech software.

You can get both SetPoint 4.80 and Logitech Connection Utility here...

Computer will not start after hooking up mouse

Try disconnecting the mouse and start again, I suspect a driver issue but with windows Vista that should not happen. But remove the mouse boot up, and try installing the drivers for the mouse before you connect it the the computer. This is a unusual case since Vista normal would detect the drivers automatically for you. Give me more info on this problem.

This mouse does not require a driver. It works with the innate Vista driver. This product originally shipped with either iTouch or MouseWare, which are not compatible with Vista. I strongly recommend to uninstall iTouch and/or MouseWare prior to migrating to Windows Vista. I bought a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks-V220 to replace my cordless Microsoft Mouse. The P/N is 630-000031 Rev.002, but it will not download it says it is already used?? How can I get it...

First U have to uninstall any programs installed by first mouse... control panel - add/remove programs.
Leave the new mouse attached.
Then U have to uninstall the old wireless mouse device...
control panel - system - hardware - devices
Reboot... when it detects the device, load the driver for the new mouse from the new mouse cd.
U can load any programs U want from the new mouse cd after insuring the mouse works.

Have you uninstalled it and then reinstalled it? Try downloading the most recent version software online. If you can't download the software, you might have other issues!
