Question about Apple PowerBook G4 Mac Notebook

Pictures uploaded from my cellphone and are saved on my desktop

I uploaded pictures from my cp and placed on my desktop. now i wanted to delete all those pictures but sad to say i could not delete or even drag it to the trash.how can i delete those pix uploaded from my cp?

    If this is a Mac, open Disk Utility and Repair Permissions ... ever done that?

    What do you mean when you say you can't drag them to the trash? Is it giving you any kind of error message when you do that, or only when you try to empty the trash?

    Is this a PC or an Apple Mac? The way of deleting files in general are somewhat different, no matter where the files are placed. In many ways though, you can always regard the computer desktop as just another folder on your computer, but since the desktop is more visually present than most other folders on a computer, one can easily get confused.

First close any application that you may have open that used the photo...or that you used to view or edit the photo.
The problem could be that the application or photo was in use. Usually it won't allow you to delete a file that is in use by a program.
Once you are sure that the applications are closed. then click on the photo (if this is a Mac) and press and hold down the the apple command key (one on each side of your spacebar) then hit the delete key. The item should disappear...(it moves it to the trash)
Or you can just drag and drop it to the trash.

Hi again Linda. Great, now we have a real question :>)

The voicemail capability is nothing to do with your Samsung phone (I hope you liked that picture), it is powered by your cellphone carrier, Sprint, AT&T or Fido (my carrier). What you need to do is this. Access your voicemail, on my iphone it is from the 'make a phone call' app, and then the VoiceMail button. The recorded message gives you options. One of those is 'Listen to Voicemail'. when you listen to your messages you will be prompted to delete or save the message. With mine you press 9 to Delete.

If none of that helps, you need to contact your cellphone carrier.

I think you're naming something by another name so I'm not entirely sure what you want. That model has a very limited memory in today's standards (20 Mb) and if there are saved messages in memory, you won't be able to save/send new messages until the old ones have been deleted. Here is the manual, I think what you are looking for is on pages 70-79 in this manual.

Hello.
To upload pictures on Facebook that are saved on your desktop, kindly follow these instructions:
1. Login on Facebook2. On Facebook homepage, click on Add Photo/Video and click Upload Photo/Video

4. Browse to the location where you saved the picture you want to upload (in this example the picture is saved on Desktop), select the picture then click Open.

How do i take a screen shot and post on my facebook wall
Hello.
1. To capture the window you like, press Alt + Print Screen. But if you want to capture let's say the entire desktop window, only press Print Screen on your keyboard.
2. Open Paint from Start>All Programs>Accessories. Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to automatically paste the window that you just captured using Print Screen. On the sample picture below, i have taken a screenshot of the window about your query.

3. You can crop or select a portion of the picture. Once done editing you can now save the file(we normally use JPEG format) on any folder you want, just be sure to remember where you save it. For a start, you can save the picture on the desktop so you can easily find it when you are ready to upload it on Facebook.

4. After saving, login to your Facebook account, go to your Profile page then click Add Photo/Video and choose Upload Photo/Video

5. Select an image or video file on your computer by clicking on Browse.

6. Browse to where the picture you want to upload is located. Once located, highlight the picture file then click Open.

Use your mouse on the computer, simply right click on the picture and save the picture to a folder where you can download them anytime you want.

How do i upload my pictures to the computer?
Hi,

It's easy. Follow the steps below.
  1. Save a photo to your computer or into a storage device.
  2. Connect the storage device to your computer or if the picture is already in your computer,
  3. Go to the website where you want to upload those pictures.
  4. Browse through your computer to where you saved the pictures to. Most advisable place to save these will be on the desktop.
  5. After selecting the pictures you want to upload, click on "Upload"

How to easly transfer picture from cp to cd
Hi there,

CP means Cellular phone right?

there is no direct way to transfer your files from a cellphone to a cd.

You would have to transfer files from your phone to a computer and then burn it to a cd.

You would need your cellular phone's software to be installed on your computer and you would have to have atleast a CD-RW and a burning software.

HELP! I DELETED A PIC.
You will not be able to retrieve the comments, they get deleted with the photo unfortunately. But, to get the profile picture back simply find the photo in your photo albums and click Make Profile Picture.
If you don't have it saved in any of your albums you can upload it again as long is it is saved on your computer.

UPLOADING PICTURES
use the usb charger and connect it to your computer, turn on your camera and choose connect to computer then click ok/menu,

on your computer click on my computer and double click on the drive that says removable disk (F:), then it will upload all the pictures to your computer you can only view and delete, but if you want to save it to y our computer you have to select all the pictures right click on the mouse and choose copy and save it to your computer or make a new folder on the deskstop.

other way:
if your computer has a memory card slot reader, then take out your memory card from your camera and place it to the computer and again go to your my computer and double click on the removable disk (F:) drive.

I place my pictures taken from my cellphone on the desktop. now i wanted to delete those pictures of mine. but when i drag the pictures to the trash nothing happened. still the picture is on the desktop....
try apple (cmd) +del button, and if id doesn't work try it again just after rebooting
