Monitor lights up for approx 3 seconds turns off for 2 seconds, turns on again for 2 seconds and turns off. the power switch then turns orange in color

Look for bad caps in the power supply section.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed ACER monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Power light keeps blinking Red and TV will not turn on

Is the light blinking constantly or is there a long pause then more blinking. If constant check the lamp door switch . Usually it is broken or jammed. If you jumper it and the set comes on that it. 4 blinks is bad fan.

My Hobart 250 airforce doesn't start

On the main circuit board for the power supply, there is usually a thermal fuse installed, its a sealed unit and is not servicible, look for a black epoxied case, approx 3/8x3/4 long, with 2 leads coming out of it. Inside is a set of bi-metal contact points which serves as an over voltage/over current protection. These contacts deform/corode over time and it sounds like there not contacting properly. As soon as you try to load the machine, the current passing through this high resistance heats these contacts up, and shuts off power to the unit. I am not familiar with the guts of a hypertherm, but have extensive experiance repairing inverter based plasma cutting equipment, and i have encountered this before. I assume hypertherm must have some equivelent to this thermal switch inside the power supply.....Good luck..

TV won't come on. Standby goes green, then goes red blinks 3 times

3 flashes means the lamp door is not on correctly or the lamp door switch is broken.

02 xda orbit..

If the light doesnt turn to orange after a few minutes on the charger then the problem hardware related. Try another battery if there is no change then there is fault in the device, and repairs are required.

also you can try

this:

1. Plug it in the Charger without the battery inside.

2. switch on the power.

3. Without removing the charger plug in the battery.

4. Light should turn orange.

5. Wait a moment or two then power it on.

that might get it to work.

No power but has red light flashing

Thank God for the internet. I had the same problem and I googled it and found this site with this solution. It worked fine. Thank you. Like you said, unplug, hold the power button for 60 seconds and replug and turn on. Worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch.

No cooling after power out, indicator lights pattern not in manual

The Mitsubishi units have to be reset by turning off the indoor units by switching the remote or thermostat to off. Then turn off the breaker to the outside unit(s). After 30 seconds, turn on the breaker and then you can turn on the remote for cool. If no lights come on on the inside units, most likely you have blown a fuse soldered on the main PC board. At this point, call your technician. A goos tech will be able to wire in an in-line fuse holder so if it should happen again, you can easily replace the fuse. If you do see a light or two come on at the indoor unit but the outdoor unit does not start after 3 or 4 minutes, sounds like you will need to call a technician. Most likely you have a blown fuse on the main PC board of the outside unit. It is not an easy one to replace. Good Luck!
