A better detailed description would help here I think.

One key point you should know -- the "gain" knob is NOT a volume control. This know is designed to allow the end-user to adjust the amplifier to whatever signal it is being fed. For instance, if you have a Kenwood cd player in the dash that outputs 2 volts down the RCA's, then the gain would have to be set rather high. On the other hand, if you have a Pioneer cd player with balanced 4 or 8 volt outputs down the RCA's, then the gain would be set much lower. If you use the gain knob as a volume control, you will clip the signal sent to your speakers and blow voice coils, especially in subwoofers.

Through the years I've met alot of people that know how to install amplifiers and speakers. A small handful of them knew/know how to adjust amplifer gain correctly.

Maybe do a little bit of research on your setup and then come back with some more specific questions? I know that it may sound tedious, but in the end, you will thank me. Your system will sound better and last for years, instead of sounding not so hot and blowing up in a year or less. Do your hard earned money a favor and educate yourself on parallel/series wiring, amplifier gain settings, and installation techniques.

Feel free to come back to this post and ask more questions, and I'll help you out. =) I won't post this as a solution because its not really one, just more of a getting to know you and your knowledge sorta thing.

Sorry, so in a nutshell you have 2 12" subs (1 dual VC) and 2 Amps (1 2-channel)?

    Let me know...

Have changed headunit and also speakers..but still got my problem..plays ok till i up the volume then the headunit reboots by itself ... help please

Check the DC voltage at the Yellow and red wire to see whether it falls down when you raise the volume. If you have no meter to check, then buy a battery tester from auto parts shop. If the voltage falls down with volume, check the fuse or contacts in the fuse box.

The radio is getting power and the blue light around the the volume knob is staying on but the rest of the unit isn't powering on

I would try and check two different items. First, using a multimeter or test light ensure that there is correct voltage going to each of the sources and you have a good solid grounding source. Second is trying a reset to the unit.

How to connect a pioneer amplifier to sony cd player in car

easy as matey!

connect RCA leads to the preout in the back of the sony headunit run it down one side of the car into the boot and connect the RCA leads to the amp

You will need to wire in the power earth and remote

Remote lead connects to the BLUE N WHITE wire on back on head unit

Run the power lead and remote down one side of car and the RCA leads down other side which will stop interferance

Turns on no sound

Check the iso connector at the back make sure the speakers are all plugged in if they are then you have a faulty headunit there mate.

Best solution i can offer is to buy a cheap basic cd player for it

Hope this helps

well a sega genesis there are 3 different models all either using RF adaptors or AV cables

if RF adaptor please follow this

plug the RF adaptor into the back of your tv the coaxal cable for your tv service ushally runs through this, and plug it into the the back and you can also plug the service into the RF adaptor for the sega genesis. plug the power in and make sure you are on the correct channel (3or4)

If you are using AV cables please advise and I will post the following for that.

P4004 - Blown Components

if burned components are on output stage or amplifier section on board..Then look at the oposite side of amp..Both amplifier section should be a mirror image oof componentc from other..that way you can know the values of parts. If they are on power supply section ..Then you might need manual if available..
