Question about Computers & Internet
In HCL computers cd drives have. But how to find out cd drives are cd writer or not
To find out if your cd rom is a writable drive, go to My Computer, and listed there will be your CD ROM drive, sometimes called letter D:\ right click on that drive and scroll down to the properties option and click that on. Under propoerties, if you see a tab on the top called Recording, then it's a read/write drive. If you don't see a tab called Recording, then it's either not a read/write, or the wrong drivers have been installed for it. If the wrong drivers were installed, you will need to go to the website of the manufacturer and download the correct one. Typically your safe to say if it works at all to read cd's, then the driver is installed correctly.
