On some infocus proj, the lamp door has a switch that usually has to be correctly positioned to reinstall lamp door, if it was working correctly befor lamp change check here first. if no pic at all check all connections to video equipment something may have come loose. If you get a picture try the factory reset/

Did you try to reinstall the bulb and make sure screws and plug are all the way in, if bulb connections are not all the way in the bulb may not light if not aligned or plugged in. If you have not done it already, try taking it out and putting it back in, all the bulbs I have replaced have been blown or shattered before there time was up. Make sure it is the right bulb also, comparing the old to the new, and if the old one was changed before it actually shattered then try the old one and see if it still works, you may even have a defective bulb, it happens sometimes, inspect the bulb carefully.

I have a sony kdf 50e-2000 the green light goes on then it goes to thr red blinking lamp light. I have no sound or picture. If I replace the lamp light will I get sound and a picture again?

Hi,
Yes, if you have not replaced the lamp since you purchased this TV.
Lamps usually last about 6000 hours.
I've seen lamps last much longer than 6000Hrs, it all depends on the usage.
Remove the lamp from the TV and do a visual inspection, see if there's a crack on the glass or the bulb.
If the TV is few years old then the Lamp may be bad.

DO NOT BUY the lamp from ebay

Good luck to you.

Tv has no picture or sound. replaced bulb no help greenlight blinks 79 times. red lights start blinking

Lamp light flashing once every 5 seconds or twice every 5? Twice every 5 seconds,....lamp failure, once every 5 seconds,...ballast or thermal fuse failure. You have a lamp, ballast or thermal fuse problem. The ballasts are a discontinued part and can only be purchased used at approx. $225.00 or rebuilt for around $175.00 less any service charges to diagnois and repair.

Lamp light blinking

The problem is that your lamp has expired, You need to either get in touch with the brands authorised repair agent and they can order and replace lamp( at a cost) or you can replace the lamp yourself. Also make sure you know how to rest the lamp use hours after replacing the lamp. Good luck.

I have an Infocus SP5000. The unit turns on,but

I use an infocus for my church. I don't believe there is a counter shut off, or a reset that would revent the light from operating. I sugest you go ahead and replace the lamp.
