I have bought a brand new Garmin C330 and for some reason i cant get it to work. For some reason the garmin does not seem to give any signals. The Garmin C330 just continues to say Locating Satelite or something but nothing is happening.
My C330 worked from Kentucky to South Carolina Beachs just fine many times, for alomst two years. Now it stops working once I reach the mountians in Tennessee and will not work past that point, even on the beach holding it in my hands with no antenna restrictions.
Any clues would be appreciated.
When asking for address, it will not let me enter a county, but goes directly to select county..also only shows blue arrow, not the street we are on or near.
I have reloaded usb driver, charge the battery, taken unit outdoors to get the best reception. tried different address, still blocks me from entering addresses.

Try to change the antena?
what the hell does that Suppose to mean. Where am I going to get an antenna and better yet why should I change the antenna on a unit the still has warranty. The idiots at Garmin could not figure it out so how should I???

location, location, location.... unfortunately, some locations are better than others for reception. If you are located in an area that is not good for satellite reception (buildings, mountains, etc) you will not have good reception. An external antenna is probably your only answer. I have the c330 and, to my surprise, it works inside of my house. I also have XM satellite radio that needs an external antenna to function properly.
