Sound driver I Install win 2005 i need sound driver I think ipex company bucause back of the pc ipex company

INSTALL ORIGINAL DRIVER AND CHECK UR PROBLEM, if it not solve ur problem then it is hardware problem try extra sound card or repair ur sound chip from some authorize dealer or repair person...

I did not explain the problem well.the IPEX CONVERGANCE pc has a seperate sound card and speakers attatched to the actual case.In fact,if you were to buy a case only,it usually comes with power supply and the seperate sound card and two small speakers.
I suspect that these were disabled as these pc`s i bought came from an office setup and were disabled so as to reduce unwanted noise etc in the office.
The model number of the IPEX sound card is "MP281102" made by IPEX AUSTRALIA who i believe no longer make pc`s
The card has a few JUMPERS and i need info on this card.
Any help would be appreciated

Ipex's website in the archives under the download section for your computer's exact name.

Please note a computer this old will most likely not have drivers for Windows 7/Vista. If you have recently upgraded to either of these OS's, then you are honestly better off just buying a new PC. They are no where as expensive as you probably think.

you need install audio driver for your pc.you can find audio drive from installation disk provided by the company
or else
you can download it from the company website(PC company).To download from company you need the service tag of your pc(you find this at the back side of your pc)

reinstall the drivers for your sound card, you don't have to have the install cd just go to support.dell.com and choose your model pc, and dl the audio driver
