Sir, iam mustafa i have problem with my pendrive i.e transcend if iam copying or deleting any doucments it is showing that the disk is write protected. iam facing this problem from past five days.i have tried all possible options i.e formating,DOS commands,i searched for reset button also but i did not found it.will u please send solution for this problem.

Have you checked the write protection notch on drive? Some systems also have usb write check feature. Try to disable it. If all fails try to format using HPflash. Download it from web and give it a try.

right click ny computer click manage than go to disk management and click you ubs and delete the partition of you usb and repartition it. waring do not do any than to local disk (C:) in the partition

Transcend 16GB Pendrive - error while copying

If your drive is partitioned with FAT32 then it cannot copy larger files. You have to format it using NTFS.

Hey, the transcend pen drives usually have a small switch on the side of it, ie to turn the write protect on and off, usually a small lock symbol on it, the problem with unreadable files names etc, could be a corrupt partition, i would suggest formatting the drive as long as you aint got any important information on it,

Pendrive is not working

ic, maybe the usb port of your friend's pc is defective which may cause your pen drive to malfunction, probably a shorted usb port. or just maybe your pendrive was dropped by your friend which damage the drive, it happened to me too before.
