Frigidaire Actuator model glhs68egpb1

Hello, you helped me with replcing the water actuator in the above product, It worked, but when putting everything back together, I reconnect the face panel and none of the lights light up or neither actuator works now. When putting the face plate back together, I know that by accident, the white flat wire from the motherboard connecting to the actual faceplate was disconnected. I replaced it and put it back lining the contacts up to where I believe they were connected...could there have been something else inside that I could have messed up or disconnected to cause it to not work at all now? Please help! Thanks!

That awaur is definalty apain in the rear to reconnect, i would first see that the wire is in correctly( should fold along normal lines to get proper orentation)check both end of connection, remove power first, so as not to blowe any circuitry,a small pieceof masking tape should hold the wire at either end to teh facade so as to minimalize the stress/flexing of ribbon wire. be sure to check the up[per wire harnesssa s well, perhaps you disconnected and never re attached

Auger control rod will not engage with actuator on ice bucket correctly. I have to keep manually moving the rod with my hand. When bucket is removed the actuator seems to operate fine.

Hello friend, thank you for your submission!
From what you have described the auger on your Frigidaire refrigerator is not operating properly when the ice bucket is installed. This could be a possible issue within the ice bucket or motor of the refrigerator. I would be happy to help look up any additional information with the use of your model number. You can locate the model number on your serial tag which is in the fresh food section. Once I have that information I would be happy to assist you further. -Matt

The automatic door lock for the passenger side of my 2005 Corolla no longer works. I can't find out how to fix it. Is it simply an actuator, or is it something else?

More than likely an actuator...just replced the one in my pathfinder. Easy to remove and replace.....check your fuses first though. If you have a bad actuator and need help on the procedures, just reply to this post and I will get a notification through my email. Swap the actuator with one from the drivers door. You should know if you actuator is bad. Another thing it might be also is that there is a little plastic "pin" that pops the lock up. If it is broken off, you need to replace the little piece. Take a look at it and you will see what I mean.

Replace water actuator

im assuming you replaced the water actuator, and now cant fit the water hose back into the holder??? try disconnecting the hose under the freezer door hinge, this will allow you to pull extra hose up into the dispenser area, then after remounting the face you can reconnect at the bottom

Water Actuator is broken.

I had the same problem with my water dispenser and since they were willing to sell me a part but provided no directions and I couldn't locate any I decided to make my own for those who might need them. Here is a link to a PDF I made, hope it helps.

Before starting this job I would also like to warn all to please be save and UNPLUG the fridge. The whole job took me less then 30 minutes and I doubt anything will go bad in that amount of time.
